The Edge is Alderlux’s private membership for people who want to understand Bitcoin properly — and stay understanding it. Entry is through one of three tuition tiers, delivered one to one over three months and built around what you already know. Most clients continue afterwards.
Most Bitcoin education ends the day the course does. What you learned in year one is incomplete by year three — custody standards move, regulation moves, tax treatment moves, and the market you were taught to read is not the market in front of you.
The Edge was built the other way round. Three months of tuition establishes the foundation. Membership keeps it current, for as long as you want it kept current.
Inspired by Alderley Edge in Cheshire East, looking out towards Manchester and centuries of commerce, the name stands for perspective — the ability to see further than the position you are standing in.
Membership runs alongside your programme and continues for as long as you remain a member.
One person, who knows your situation, your custody setup and what you already understand. Not a rota and not a support desk — the same person who taught you.
Ask when the question arises, not when the next session is scheduled. Most of what matters happens between meetings.
A scheduled look at your custody arrangements, your security posture and your understanding, against a market that has moved since last month.
Our monthly outlook on Bitcoin, market structure, institutional flows and monetary conditions. Written for members, not published publicly.
A deeper quarterly assessment of where the market stands, what changed, and what it means for a long-term holder.
Alderlux subscriber research and commentary, included in full. Available separately at £40 a month.
Frameworks, checklists and custody guides, maintained as standards change — alongside every report and briefing published since inception.
When a wallet standard shifts or a new class of scam appears, members are told first. The same applies to anything Alderlux opens to a limited number of clients.
Alderlux exists because information alone is not understanding. Private tuition allows every session to be shaped around the questions, experience and objectives of the individual in front of us.
We have worked through every major Bitcoin cycle, from its early years to institutional adoption and the arrival of the ETFs. That experience shapes every programme we deliver.
We are not tied to any exchange, platform or product provider, and we do not sell financial products. Our teaching is never influenced by commissions, partnerships or incentives.
Every session is one to one. Every programme is tailored. No classrooms, no cohorts, no recordings, and nobody else in the room.
Based in Cheshire, we meet clients across the North West and work remotely with clients throughout the UK and internationally — in the same one-to-one format either way.
Anyone can sell you an opinion about price. We teach you to form your own — to read structure, volume and cycle position, and to understand what you are looking at. You leave able to assess a chart without us.
Where the work touches tax, law or regulated advice, we work alongside your accountant, solicitor or financial adviser — never instead of them.
Most people arrive in one of these positions. If you recognise yourself here, there is a tier that fits.
You have bought Bitcoin, or you are about to, and you want to understand it properly rather than hope for the best.
You already own Bitcoin. You want a deeper understanding of markets, custody, tax and where institutional money is going.
More than one person needs to understand this. Right now, at most one of you does.
Recorded courses are built for an average student who does not exist. They cannot tell what you already know, and they cannot stop when something hasn’t landed.
Sessions are live and unscripted. We start where your understanding ends, spend time where you need it and skip what you already have. Much of the value lies in the questions.
Each tier runs for three months of private tuition, with membership included throughout. They differ by depth, and by who is in the room. A short conversation is usually enough to know which one fits.
For people new to Bitcoin, or who bought some and never properly understood what they were holding.
For existing Bitcoin holders who want to understand markets, custody, regulation and institutional adoption.
For households where knowledge is concentrated in one person. Taught to the family, not to one member of it.
When the programme ends, the market does not. Membership continues at £400 a month, including The Insider, or £4,320 for the year paid in advance. No minimum term and no exit fee — members who no longer need it stop, and are welcome back.
Foundation clients pay £400 a month during the programme and £400 a month after. The price never rises.
Not ready for a programme? The Insider is available on its own at £40 a month, or £440 a year. Explore The Insider.
Most Bitcoin is lost, not stolen. It is lost because one person held the keys and the arrangement did not survive them.
Succession designs the structure that holds when the person who built it is no longer there. It is a standalone engagement. Tuition is not a prerequisite — some clients come to us already confident in their own holdings and needing only the plan that outlives them. Family tier clients tend to arrive here naturally, having just discovered how much of the arrangement rests on one person.
Succession is priced by engagement, because no two households are structured alike. It can be taken on its own, or alongside any tier.
Explore SuccessionA short call, at no cost. We establish what you already know, what you want to solve, and which tier fits. If none of them do, we say so.
Live, private and scheduled around you. Written notes follow each one, so you are not taking dictation while trying to think.
Custody, security and recovery rehearsed on your own devices, not described in theory. Understanding you cannot perform is not understanding.
The programme concludes with a written assessment of where you now stand. Most clients continue from there. Those who do not leave with everything they came for.
Twenty minutes, at no cost, no obligation on either side. Most people leave knowing which tier they need — and occasionally knowing they need none of them.
